March 2011: Niescier was leading the German Women´s JazzOrchestra to Egypt- incredible intense time with the audience in Alexandria and Cairo at the Jazz-festival. Pics will be online soon!
February 2011: FINALLY! The recording "Quite Simply" with Tysahwn Sorey and Thomas Morgan will be released on my all-favourite label enja-records. A release-tour takes place from the 27th of October until the 5th of November.
October 2010: Niescier hitting BAHRAIN! In October she lead the German Women´s JazzOrchestra in Manama. Here a small docu:

November 2008: the new programm sublim III with our guest- oudplayer Mehdi Haddab from Paris will be performed an the 16th of November in Germany, Moers (Martinsstift) and on the 17th of November in France, Paris at the Goethe-Institut.
May 2008: the premier of "Nicht wahr?!" a composition comission for the festival moers was a great success- as were the all performances at the festival.
December 2007: Niescier is invited to perform in Seoul (Korea) with korean musicans among others Soo- Jung Kae, the reknown pianist- european jazz meets korean style!
December 2007: Angelika Niescier will be the first "improviser in residence" in 2008 in Moers- the town with THE International Festival for Improvised Music. Many musically surprises will happen in Moers, among them a performance at the Festival- get the info-update in a few weeks!
September 2007: Angelika Niescier- sublim on tour in Central Asia! In Septmber/ October performances and workshops will be held in: Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kirgistan und Kasachstan
November 2006: Premiere "Freie Erde, freie Luft" , a composition for an chamber orchestra, a choir, two soloists, with text from D. Bonhoeffer.
May 2006: Premiere "cantus lucis", a work for orchestra and jazztrio, inspired by paintings from H. Engels
March 2006: Angelika Niescier sublim at the frist German Jazz Meeting at jazzahead! in Bremen, Germany.
The musican is currently finishing a big composition for a symphonic orchestra and a jazztrio, premier will be on the 14th of May in Wermelskirchen, Germany.
Novemeber 2005: Angelika Niescier sublim was on tour involving some very known international jazzfestivals in Germany, recording live for some broadcasting companies ( BR, radio bremen) and playing abroad (Netherlands, Italy)
May 2005: Bern, (CH). Premier of "declaring The Self". The musican won a competition for a composition concerning Dürenmatt´s book "Der Mitmacher" involing work with four classical singers and videoperfomance. .
October 2004: Angelika Niescier sublim was on CD-release-tour in Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

In June 2004 was the premiere of a danceperformance named "7 Sins" in Ulm, Germany. Domenico Strazzeri was one of the seven choreographers and the artdirector of this deep and touching performance. Angelika Niescier wrote the music for this evening, composed for reeds, drums, percussion and electronics. She performed live to a recording made with "Trio sublim".
November 2003: The musican is receiving the Price for Young Artists from the Ministry of Culture of Nordrhine Wesphalia
